The other big news is myself and Dee have had a little baby boy!!!! His name is Oliver , or just  Ollie if you’ve met each other before. He was 9 pound 1, so he’s a bit of a bruiser. Mother and baby are doing wonderful, daddy is still in shock.ollie

The Amazing World of Gumball

November 10, 2009

Gumball2[1]I haven’t put anything up on this old blog for quite some time, so me reckon’s it’s time to correct that with two great bits of news. First off I can at last announce that Bouler have recently started on an amazing project for Cartoon Network, you can check out the full press release here http://www.iftn.ie/news/?act1=record&aid=73&rid=4282602&tpl=archnews&only=1 if it takes your fancy. It’s a huge deal for us as it’s our first proper venture into 3D (see models on the right!) which is something we always wanted to get into but just never had the opportuntity ( or cash!) to develop. It’s also a big project for our Comp team as it’s combining 3D, 2D,live action and 3D all together.  Anywho we’ve a long way to go but the end results should look pretty class.

Black Narsissus

September 7, 2008

You know the way there’s dozens of films that you REALLY should see but just never get around to it. Well I eventually got around to looking at A Matter of Life and Death starring David Nivon the other day and it just blew me away.  It has to be one one the most beautiful looking flims ever made. So I decided to check Black Narsissus the following day, also directed by Powell and Pressberger, another stunning film. Off the back of that I drew up an image using pens and markers.
